BRB

My initials are unfortunately that of the trendy acronym for “be right back,” popularized in the early 2000’s.

Brynnan

The name Brennan is pretty common, especially among boys, but the name Brynnan for a girl is not as popular. My dad worked with a football player named Brad Brennan and my parents liked the name enough to give it to me. They apparently really like gender swapped names because my brother is named Tayelor, which is usually a girl’s name, so people typically mistake me for Tayelor and him for Brynnan. They made the spellings unique enough, though so it just leaves people slightly confused. I read somewhere that Brynnan means “raven-like” which is very eccentric, and I like it. My only qualm with that is that ravens kind of freak me out. They do get a lot of credit for being intelligent, though, so I guess they can’t be all bad.

Renee

My middle name came from my mom’s best friend at the time. I think it is a really sweet sentiment to name a child after your best friend. It is always nice to visit my “aunt” and see the person I was named after.

Brooks

The last name of Brooks is pretty common, but I like the alliteration in my initials it gives me.
